Mass-produced Brembo PR16x16 Radial master cylinder.

Brembo master cylinders improve response and control in all conditions. The result is exceptional linearity between the force applied to the lever by the rider and the braking response, resulting in an unrivalled, unique feel.

The forged aluminium alloy master cylinder body is machined using CNC technology. A hard oxide coating is used for the finish.

Brembo radial master cylinders are available with a piston diameter of 16 mm or 19 mm with a pivot distance (for standard or folding levers) of 16, 18 or 20 mm.

How to choose the piston diameter for your brake master cylinder (first value) :

The PR 16 is recommended for motorbikes equipped

a single 4-piston brake caliper
two floating calipers with 2 pistons each (4 pistons in total)
The PR 19 is recommended for motorbikes equipped with:

two 4-piston callipers
two 6-piston callipers
 
How to choose the centre distance of your brake master cylinder (second value) :

16, 18 or 20???

These figures correspond to the distance between the pivot of the brake lever and the point of contact with the piston.

The shorter the distance, the more powerful the brake application, and inversely.
