The Öhlins cartridge system fits into the original front fork. Please follow our recommendations regarding spring rates and oil in relation to rider's weight and preference listed in the specific cartridge kit's mounting instruction.

Spring Recommendation
- Rider weight below 75kg: 68042-35 left & right leg
- Rider weight below 80kg: 68042-35 left leg, 68042-45 right leg
- Rider weight above 85kg: 68042-45 left & right leg

Installation Tools
For a correct installation of the cartridge kit into the standard front fork the following tools are required. These tools are not included and need to be purchased in addition at the Öhlins online shop.

- Motorcycle Tool, pull up top-out spring M12, part no. 01765-03
- Tool, cylindertube cap, part no. 01797-07
- Öhlins Soft Jaws kit 10/12/35, part no. 00727-02
- Öhlins Soft Jaws kit 30/34/55, part no. 00727-06

Additional Consumables
Various operating materials may be required for the professional installation of the cartridge kit. These are not included. Please refer to the installation instructions for the respective product.

- Red grease, 100 g, part no. 00146-01
