Brake Fluid Racing BREMBO RACING LCF 600 PLUS 500ml

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Low compressibility factor at high temperatures
High dry boiling point
Brembo Racing LCF 600 PLUS has been specially formulated to provide the best performance in all conditions of use.
Exceeds US FMVSS 116 DOT4 specification.

Compatible with all Brembo Racing brake systems.

Can be mixed with other DOT3 and DOT4 racing brake fluids.

In any case we advise you to drain the brake system before filling it with Brembo Racing LCF 600 PLUS.

Brembo Racing LCF 600 PLUS must not be used in braking systems containing magnesium parts.

BRAKE FLUID

Only use brake fluid with a DOT 3 or DOT 4 boiling point.
Only use brake fluid from a new, sealed container.
Replace the brake fluid before each race.
Note:
Using fluids other than brake fluids may damage brake system components.

Procedure :

To bleed the brakes, proceed as follows:
Turn the handlebars until the reservoir is horizontal.
Fill the reservoir with brake fluid; when bleeding, avoid letting the brake fluid level fall below the MIN level.
Brake several times to partially fill the brake system.
Insert a clear flexible hose on the bleed screw.
Bleed one bleed screw at a time.
Pull the brake lever all the way out and hold it in this position.
Loosen the bleed screw (initially only air will come out), then retighten the bleed screw (slightly).
Let the brake lever return to its initial position and wait a few seconds. Repeat the above steps until there are no more air bubbles.

Tighten the bleed screws to the recommended torque and fill the brake fluid reservoir.
Check that there are no leaks from the various fittings and connections.
If the brake system has been bled correctly, the dead travel of the lever will be almost zero, you will feel the direct action of the fluid without a spongy "springy" sensation, if this is not the case, repeat the bleeding procedure.
Bleed your braking system regularly, especially after riding in the rain. In this case, always start with the master cylinder, as the air always rises to the top.
N.B: Brake fluid corrodes paintwork.

Notes

If the lever feels too springy following the bleeding procedure, proceed as follows:
Remove a brake pad from a caliper.
Apply the brakes several times so as to push the pistons approximately 3/4 mm (BE CAREFUL NOT TO PUSH ONE OF THE PISTONS UNTIL IT COMES OUT OF THE CALPER).
Push the pistons back in (avoid damaging the disc and the pistons).
Insert the brake pad into the caliper.
Repeat the above steps on the other caliper.
Check whether the brake lever travel has improved.
