For emissions and noise reduction reasons, secondary throttle bodies have been introduced on motorcycles in recent years. These are controlled by the motorcycle's ECU. For maximum performance and rapid throttle response, this secondary system is often removed – especially in drag racing/street racing. However, removing the secondary throttle actuator from the main wiring harness will cause the FI (Fixed Intake) light to illuminate on the instrument panel. The STV Eliminator plugs directly into the motorcycle's wiring harness. This small device allows you to remove the entire secondary throttle assembly, including the actuator, throttle blades, and rod/shaft. This makes the job quick and easy!

Note: After installation, we recommend checking and, if necessary, adjusting the engine's air-fuel ratio (AFR) on a dynamometer.

Quick and easy to use: Simply disconnect the actuator from the main wiring harness, plug in the STV Eliminator – the unit will function as if the actuator were still present. No splicing or soldering required; the wiring harness remains intact. It's that simple!

A more cost-effective alternative: If the actuator motor fails (a frequent occurrence with some models), replacing it with the STVE is significantly cheaper than buying a new motor.
